About

Catalysis-related research at both Colorado School of Mines and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory has seen dramatic growth in recent years, both in the number of researchers and the amount and quality of the research being produced.

Catalysis is highly relevant to the missions of Mines and NREL, as well as to U.S. and global sustainability. Further, catalysis as a research area encompasses several academic disciplines (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, etc.) as well as multiple NREL directorates and research directions.
